1. About us
This website is operated by Velvee Exports (“rugcult”, “we”, “us”), an India-based, IEC & GST registered manufacturer and exporter of hand-tufted rugs.

2. Products
All rugs are hand-tufted and made to order. As handmade products, slight variations in colour, size, and texture are natural and are not considered defects — they are part of the character of a handcrafted rug. Product images are for reference; actual pieces may vary subtly.

3. Custom orders & approvals
Custom orders proceed on the basis of a design proof and/or sample approved by you. Once approved, production begins according to that specification. Please review approvals carefully, as production is based on your confirmation.

4. Quotes & pricing
Prices and quotes are provided per enquiry, based on design, size, material, quantity, and destination. Quotes are valid for 15 days unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to update pricing before an order is confirmed.

5. Payment
Payment terms: orders are confirmed on receipt of the agreed 50% advance or full payment via bank transfer.

6. Production & delivery time
Standard production lead time is 4–5 weeks from order confirmation and design approval. Delivery timelines depend on destination and shipping method, as set out in our Shipping Policy.

7. Shipping, duties & taxes
Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy. Import duties, taxes, and customs charges in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Returns & cancellations
Returns and cancellations are governed by our Return Policy. As products are custom-made, returns are limited to damaged, defective, or materially incorrect items.

9. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and designs — is the property of rugcult and may not be copied or used without our written permission. Where you provide us with your own designs or artwork for production, you confirm you have the right to use them, and you retain ownership of your design.

10. Confidentiality (trade & private label)
For private label and trade partners, we treat your brand information and designs as confidential and do not use them to compete with you.

11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, rugcult is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or website. Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order.

12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of  Noida, India.
